The hotel's location near the Grand Canal was a definite highlight, offering a picturesque setting. However, it was not as close to the city center or boat locations, which was a slight downside. My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The hotel offers rooms with a window to get air flow, just for the beds, with a great view, and with shared bathroom. It is very near to the Grand Canal, in a poorly equipped restaurant, close to San Toma pier, very close to the Vaporetto S Toma stop, on the island of Venice. The service was kind enough to let us store our luggage near the main desk for a few hours after check-out. The dining experience included oysters. The facilities were well-equipped.
